These artists share a talent for drawing and the ability to take us into a world of their own. Tessa Perutz’s colorful gouaches depict landscapes such as the Belgian coast in a moving, light and even aerial way. Working with graphite and charcoal, Charles-Henry Sommelette is a master in the representation of silence and serenity. Drawing spaces of nature a few kilometers from his home, no human figure comes into play, giving the impression of being a privileged spectator in this haven of peace. David Brian Smith has this particular capacity to represent fairy-like universes but tinged with a strange mystical and fantastic attraction.
